If you just want to put your feet up, stop in and enjoy the house and its garden.
The garden is of course a joy in the summer - and there's no passing traffic so it's beautifully quiet. There is a big lawn with mature flower beds, all surrounded by fantastic views to the hills. There is ample garden furniture, including a hardwood dining set for 10 with 'sun sail' protection, a barbecue and fire pit. Boules, croquet, frisbee, etc. also available. And for the kids there are streams and woods aplenty for building dams and dens.
Indoors, there is a well-stocked library including lots of local interest books. We have a DVD collection running to over 600 titles (with a good selection of popular, classic and world cinema / art house films) and there's loads of indoor games (Scrabble, Monopoly, etc.).
Please note that there is no mobile reception in the house. To pick up the nearest signal (Orange) you'll have to join the sheep on the hillside behind the house! There is Wifi connectivity available but this is limited to internet browsing and checking email only.
